Need some fun and exciting things to do this weekend in Toronto and surrounding areas? Whether it’s some scary Halloween activities, some home improvement inspiration, or some tasty food and drinks, there’s something for everyone to get into. Here are some of the events that you can check out this weekend:


 If you love all things pumpkin, then you will love Pumpkinville, a new Scarborough Town Centre attraction where more than 5,000 pumpkins, a corn maze, a hay ride and other fun awaits. There is live entertainment, food trucks, and a pumpkin patch you can pick your own pumpkin. Pumpkinville open on Sep 30 to Oct 31, 2023 from Thursday to Sunday. Tickets are $15 per person and can be purchased online or at the gate.


 If you’re in the market for ideas and advice to transform your home, don’t miss the Toronto Fall Home Show, the largest consumer home show in Canada. You can wander through hundreds of exhibitors, meet experts and stars, join workshops and conferences, and be inspired by new trends and innovative products in the field of home design and renovation. The Toronto Fall Home Show is taking place at the Exhibition Place from September 29 to October 1, 2023. Tix are $15 in advance, $18 at the door.


 If you are interested in some spooky fun, head to the Spooktacular Light Show, a drive-thru experience with over 1,000,000 LED lights flashing in sync to Halloween tunes. You can choose from two locations: Choose Pickering or Milton and you’ll take a 2.5-mile trek through haunting scenes and scary characters. The Spooktacular Light Show begins on September 29, 2023, and concludes on October 31, 2023. It’s $25 per car and you need to buy online in advance.


 If you want to indulge in scrumptious food & drinks, you should make your way to the “Harvest Festival”: a night market that’s all about the fall season with local vendors, live music, and cultural performances. You can try a diverse selection of foods, from Asian street eats to Canadian favourites, along with craft beers, wines and cocktails. The Harvest Festival is from September 29 to October 8, 2023, at Square One Shopping Centre in Mississauga. Free admission all ages — all welcome.
