One of the events that you can check out is the Toronto Waterfront Festival – 2023, which is a celebration of the end of summer at the Toronto waterfront. You can enjoy live music, food trucks, art installations, boat rides, and more at this festival. This year’s theme is “Water Stories”, featuring stories from Indigenous, newcomer, and youth perspectives on the importance of water. You can also catch the spectacular finale show, “The Great Canadian Splash”, featuring a giant inflatable beaver and a water cannon. The festival will take place at 7 Queens Quay E, Toronto on Sep 16 from 10:00 AM to 08:00 PM and on Sep 17 from 10:00 AM to 06:00 PM.

 

Another event that you can attend is the Tastes of South East Asia festival, which is a showcase of the delicious and authentic South East Asian cuisine. You can sample dishes from various countries such as Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, Indonesia, and more at this festival. You can also enjoy cultural performances, live music, and a night market. The festival will take place at Mississauga Celebration Square, 300 City Centre Dr, Mississauga on Sep 16 from 12:00 PM to 11:00 PM.

 

If you are looking for some nature-themed fun, you can visit the York-Durham Heritage Railway’s Fall Festival. You can take a scenic train ride through the Oak Ridges Moraine, enjoy a pumpkin patch, a corn maze, a petting zoo, and more at this festival. You can also learn about the history and heritage of the railway and the region. The festival will take place at York-Durham Heritage Railway, 19 Railway Street, Uxbridge on Sep 16 from 10:00 AM to 04:00 PM.

 

If you are interested in learning about the rich and diverse Ukrainian culture, you can join the Bloor West Village Toronto Ukrainian Festival. You can watch traditional dances, listen to folk songs, shop for crafts and souvenirs, and taste some of the best Ukrainian food in town at this festival. You can also join the parade on Saturday morning or the zabava (street dance) on Saturday night. The festival will take place at Bloor West Village, Toronto on Sep 15 from 05:00 PM to 11:00 PM, on Sep 16 from 09:00 AM to 11:00 PM, and on Sep 17 from 10:30 AM to 07:00 PM.

 

If you are looking for some family fun, you can have a blast at the Brampton Fall Fair. You can enjoy carnival rides, games, shows, exhibits, and competitions at this fair. You can also see farm animals, tractors, antique cars, and more. Don’t forget to try some of the fair favourites such as cotton candy, funnel cake, and corn dogs. The fair will take place at Brampton Fairgrounds, 12942 Heart Lake Rd, Caledon on Sep 14 from 05:00 PM to 10:00 PM , on Sep 15 from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM , on Sep 16 from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM , and on Sep 17 from 10:00 AM to 05:00 PM.
