Are you looking for some fun and exciting events to enjoy this weekend in Toronto and surrounding areas? Whether you are a nature lover, a thrill seeker, or a horror fan, there is something for everyone to explore and experience. Here are some of the events that we recommend you to check out:

If you are fascinated by the art of bonsai, you don’t want to miss this event hosted by the Toronto Bonsai Society. You will have the opportunity to see hundreds of beautiful bonsai trees on display, learn from the experts, and purchase your own bonsai or accessories. The exhibition will also feature demonstrations, workshops, and raffles. The event is free and open to the public, but donations are welcome. The exhibition will take place at the Toronto Botanical Garden on October 14 and 15, from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Join the High Park Nature Centre for a guided walk to celebrate the World Migratory Bird Day. You will learn about the amazing journeys of migratory birds, their challenges and threats, and how you can help them. You will also have the chance to observe some of the birds that stop by High Park during their migration. The walk is suitable for all ages and skill levels, and binoculars will be provided. The walk will start at the High Park Nature Centre on October 14, from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM. The cost is $5 per person or $15 per family.

If you are looking for some family-friendly Halloween fun, head over to Canada’s Wonderland for Camp Spooky. You and your kids can enjoy a variety of spooky activities, such as a corn maze, a pumpkin patch, a trick-or-treat trail, and live shows. You can also ride some of your favourite attractions, such as Peanuts 500, Lucy’s Tugboat, and Sally’s Love Buggies. Camp Spooky is included with park admission and runs until October 29, from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

For a more intense and immersive Halloween experience, visit Casa Loma for Legends of Horror. You will walk through a one-hour self-guided tour that takes you through the tunnels, gardens, and chambers of Casa Loma. Along the way, you will encounter some of the most iconic characters from horror movies and literature, such as Dracula, Frankenstein, and the Phantom of the Opera. Legends of Horror is not recommended for children under 13 years old and runs until October 31, from 5:00 PM onwards. Tickets are $40 online or $45 at the door.
