Spring is a beautiful time in Canada, especially in Toronto. With warmer weather and longer days, everyone is excited to get out of the house and enjoy what the city has to offer. Luckily, there are plenty of fun events coming up that you won't want to miss. From exploring some of the city's most iconic buildings during Doors Open Toronto to indulging in pet-loving fun at the Party 4 Paws Spring Pet Fair, here's what you can expect this spring season.

Doors Open Toronto 2023
For architecture enthusiasts and history buffs alike, Doors Open Toronto is a must-attend event. This year, the event has been expanded to two weekends – May 27-28 and June 3-4 – due to popular demand. During Doors Open, buildings across the city open their doors to the public, giving visitors a rare opportunity to explore behind-the-scenes of some of the city's most iconic structures. From Toronto City Hall to the University of Toronto's Hart House, there's something for everyone at Doors Open Toronto.

Spring Bird Festival

If you're a nature lover, the Spring Bird Festival is the perfect way to welcome the arrival of spring. Hosted by the Toronto Ornithological Club, this festival brings bird enthusiasts of all ages together for a day of activities and education. The festival takes place on May 27 at Tommy Thompson Park and includes bird-watching walks, presentations, and children's activities. Whether you're a seasoned bird-watcher or a beginner, the Spring Bird Festival has something to offer.

Movie Nights Celebration Square Mississauga

On Friday nights from May 28 to September 10, Celebration Square in Mississauga turns into an outdoor movie theatre. The movie series includes a range of family-friendly films, such as The Lion King, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, and Shrek. Bring your own blanket or chair, and enjoy the movie under the stars with your friends and family. Food trucks and other vendors will also be on-site to make it a night to remember.

Party 4 Paws Spring Pet Fair

If you're a pet owner or just love animals, the Party 4 Paws Spring Pet Fair is the perfect event for you. The fair takes place on June 4 at Woodbine Park and includes pet-focused activities, such as a dog fashion show, agility demonstrations, and a pet photo booth. There will also be vendors selling pet-related products, such as food, toys, and accessories. Best of all, the fair is free to attend, so bring your furry friend and enjoy a day of fun.

Spring is definitely a season to look forward to in Toronto, especially with these exciting events coming up. Whether you're looking to explore the city's architecture, celebrate the arrival of spring with feathered friends, enjoy movies under the stars, or indulge in pet-loving fun, there's something for everyone to enjoy.
